I haven't found a good answer yet, but I wanted to ask if this was because you had a task that couldn't be completed via logging onto the FamilySearch Website from the Windows 7 machine?

The App is meant to be used on smartphones and tablets, not PCs.

There are serious security issues with Windows 7. I would be very cautious about using such a machine.

Windows 7 is not supported by Microsoft. Currently only Windows 10 (until Oct 14, 2025) and Windows 11

I have tablet, Windows 7 isn't supported.

The app only works on Android and iOS, not Windows.

On a very technical tangent, (and probably far from the original request) there are Android emulators that you can install on Windows.

But for the purposes of the original ask, that'd be about like sending someone to Albuquerque by way of Alpha Centauri.
