Why are long deceased people in my imported CET tree marked at private

Can you send a link so we can observe the problem in detail?
Until then it is possible FamilySearch administrators marked them as private to protect the original contributor's privacy or the family's privacy.
Have you cheeked to see if the death year and information has been recorded in the tree, FamilySearch will not automatically consider a person to be deceased based alone on birth year.
If none of this helps please feel free to send the link to your tree so we can see exactly what the problem may be. Thank you

@BenSanford You might want to post this in the CET Feedback group. It will reach the attention of the engineers there.

This is a link to the tree: essentially everyone is tree is show as private. I went through the tree to make the living people as living, and then tried to mark the tree as public, but everyone still shows up as private.
