I am doing Zambia Records also and sometimes the Child's names are switched as in these cases. Strictly speaking we are to record just as they are ordered, but I find that I try to match Parent's surname with the same surname for the chid, mostly this is the father but on occasion it is the mother. When given 3 to 4 names for a child it is not always clear which is the surname. A moderator may make it more clear for you.
