The system never recognizes my password. Is there a way to fix that issue?

Does the 'Forgot username or password' link on the Sign In screen not help?

Also, if you are signed in to Community, you are automatically also signed in to the main FS site, in my experience.

Please let us know where you are getting stuck.

Something that I do is to open up Notepad and type the password there, make sure it's correct, and then copy and paste it into the password field of whatever I'm logging into.

There's another program that I use that sometimes declares that I've entered a wrong password, when it's actually the program having difficulties.

This method allows me to see that I have indeed typed the password correctly.

According to the FamilySearch knowledge article, have you tried clearing your FamilySearch cookies at

Good morning. Were you able to fix your issue with the password?
