Save to Source Box -- Attach to Tree

If I save an image result directly to the Source box, the Web Page (Link to the Record), that is included does not allow you to return to the Full Text Result with its associated transcript and highlighting.

If I use Attach to Tree, with or without using 'Add to Source Box' option, the Web Page (Link to the Record) does use the 'complete' url to the Full Text result

I note the saved Source Title is also different depending on which method you use…

@Mark McKenzie_1 It appears that the only difference is that in the "attach to tree", it is giving you the full "how I got here" URL. Both take you to the same record.

Unless you feel differently, I can close this discussion.

The Transcription and other 'added' items are major beneficial items and if the 'full' link wasn't included I think you'd be missing out on the 'bonus' bits n pieces in the transcription. Yes, the bare-bones link gets you to the record, but just sayin'… why not always use the full version? I guess the 'standard' link is in a way safer, just in case FamilySearch ever decides to tinker with the structure of the Full Text urls

In a related thought…. In the future, if FTS has done a transcription of an original record image that should be indicated/presented somehow. Kind of a 'wait… there's more….'.
