I've been working on my genealogy for a while. Recently, I have been given a whole bunch of information from cleaning out my parents house. Both are gone now, dad died 2 months shy of 100, mom was a month shy of 97. I have many things with no dates. Many of the things, I will scan to put in my records. Then I will give the original to my sister. It will be easier for me. I am ADHD, paper is hard for me. But how do I say the source. Any help is appreciated. God bless.

    Hi @Mary Helen Fricke

I'd start by saying your answer will all depend on what you scan.

Since you are scanning these "things" in, I would say use the Memories tools in FamilySearch.

For instance, for any picture or document, I would add them as a Memory (making sure to tag). As you Edit each Memory, you can put in details. From there, just do the best you can to provide the best information you can. If you don't know, you can add a "Comment," to let users know.
