Finding scanned record on microfilm
I'm looking for a record that is not yet indexed (birth 1876 in Wommelgem, Belgium).
I click "Search" then "Catalog". I type "Wommelgem" then click the only pop-up.
I then click "Search"; then click "Belgium, Antwerp, Wommelgem - Civil registration (2)"
I then click "Registers van de Burgerlijke Stand, 1802-1906".
On page two; I click the camera icon on right side of "Tienjarige tafels 1871-1890 Geboorten, huwelijken, overlijdens 1871-1890" which happens to be on "film 1884194 Items 2-5".
I preformed these same tasks for other research over the past 25 years. Now something has changed!
On the page with many scans; it initially shows "1 of 1251". I scroll down to "Item 2" (scan 289) to see if this is the item I wish to look at. It tells me "10 jaar tafels" which is not what I want. I also notice that position within film is now "1 of 963" and I cannot figure out how to get back to "289 of 1251"; so I can check items 3,4,5!! How do I now do this?

You may find it more convenient to use the Image browse feature.
The DGS number is needed to use Image Browse, rather than the older microfilm number. DGS 4833411, Item 2, contains births beginning 1871. The title board/waypoint for Item 2 is at https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9PD6-DBL
Or, you can start from
https://www.familysearch.org/records/images/Click More Options and enter the DGS number 4833411 in the Image Group Number box.
Hope this helps!
