Year Filter Behavior
Seeing odd Year Filter Behavior when using multiple decade filters.
Starting from this Filtered Results List I chose 1820 decade filter which indicated 6 results
This was result of applying the filter and there was indeed 6 records in the list. So far, so good.
Followed up with selecting 1830 decade filter which indicated an additional 8 results
This was the Filtered Results list with those two filters
Couple of things on this one. Filtered results total shows '13' and that was correct in looking over the results list. But you'll note the 1820 filter went from 6 to 1. The 1830 filter showed the 8 we expected
Going back to Select Filter…
I applied 1840 subfilter which was showing a total of 19 [I note the 1820 subfitler continues to show 6]. Here is the result of the additional 1840 subfilter
Filtered Results showed 30 which was confirmed by looking at the list. The 1840 subfilter shows 2 when I would have expected 19. The1820 subfilter continues to show 1. And if you add up the subfilter numbers [1, 8, 2] you get 11 as opposed to the 30 in the Filtered Results total
Deleting the 1840 subfilter gives this result which is what we saw previously
And taking this one additional step, I deleted the 1830 subfilter getting us back to the original
Thankfully I am getting what I ask for in the Filtered Results list which is the important thing. But the numbers shown in parenthesis for the subfilters seems a bit odd.
