I’ve seen many records like this with regards to attached sources, Stirling isn’t anywhere near Aberdeenshire Scotland. The location should be Stirling, Stirlingshire Scotland - here’s an example Johne WrichtMaleDeceased•M546-1RS.
I’ve contacted Family search Europe several times and have received a response saying I’m correct but I’m getting nowhere with regards to who to notify to correct batches of these errors

This is the place name standardizer at work again. Thanks.https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/sources/M546-1RS
@Ge bek What tells me this is auto standardizing issue is the word (Original) in the extract. SerraNola is the mod who has taken point on reporting these issues to the developers.

@Ge bek You're welcome, but you didn't need to send another message. By my tagging the mod in my reply, the information was already passed on. Since it's the weekend, and with RootsTech starting soon, it may be a few days before SerraNola has a chance to look at your question.

Sorry, I didn’t realise you had tagged SerraNola, this is the 1st time I’ve been on this page. I’m so glad I found it and thanks again for your help

@Ge bek Thanks, I got both of your messages. I know it seems for everyone that these place name issues are here to stay. There are far too many to try to fix one film at a time, which is what has been done in the past. Engineers are working to perfect a treatment for correcting the errors without creating new ones. It is a top priority but still taking a lot longer than we had hoped. In the meantime, thanks to all of you—we have really good descriptions of the problem for each collection so we'll be able to accurately assess the quality of the fixup.
