Shift + enter - adds extra blank rows

If you want to permanently make chat start a new paragraph when you hit return or enter and only send the message when you specifically hit the send button, then make use of the blue button that appears after you start typing a message:

to switch from "Enter Key Sends Message" to "Enter Key Creates New Line."

I'm not sure why that blue button to switch between the two options only appears after you start typing a message instead of being there all the time.
