I am having trouble finding the children of the following couple:

I am researching John D. Kelly, who married Hildegard Kaufhardt in 1949 in Hamburg, Germany. John was a member of the British Armed Forces. Per a family member, they had two children, Robert and Annemarie. They did not know if they stayed in Germany, or moved back to the UK. I know that one of their children wound up moving to the States and may have lived in Kentucky and/or Georgia. I can't find any documentation of the family after John and Hildegard's marriage in 1949. Any suggestions?

If they moved to the US shortly after their marriage, you might find them in the 1950 US census. Otherwise, you're in "modern" territory when records for those who are likely living are not online, for reasons of personal privacy.
I suggest you post in the British Isles research group where someone might be able to able with John Kelly's military records.
    Best of luck.
