In the past after the record is attached to profiles of people mentioned in record you could go to "Refresh Person" and the attachment would show up in sources of the profile. Recently that no longer works, at least in a timely fashion. In some cases I go back to the profile much later (hours or days) and it finally shows up. Why the change?

@ChrisPederson, I've seen this too. The computer analyses the document first to make sure it fits with the guidelines. I've had to wait hours and hours before it was approved.

I just uploaded a picture and I kept refreshing it to see how long it would take and it finished in about 15 minutes.

Hello - I've noticed this as well but not as long a wait as days. Maybe it's all due to the actual work load for the central computor to carry out at that particular time, as well as the nature of the document itself.

I think we are discussing apples and oranges in this thread. A item submitted to Memories undergoes a review by computer algorithm for meeting guidelines. We often have to ask for a human review because the algorithm misreads the attachment.

An unindexed source attached to a profile does not go through the same review process.
