Correcting 1900 US Census transcriptions

I am working a FamilySearch missionary assignment where I sometimes need to correct the indexed 1900 US Census. Frequently, this involves rebuilding the household relationship structure.

Question: Where can I get instructions on indexing and correcting these records?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

@JaneSmith2600 I would feel a lot better if you contacted your project supervisor and asked for some hands on training.

All Family Tree users have the ability to edit those records. Those process steps are needed.

Any FamilySearch user trying to edit an incorrectly indexed 1900 US census record for a specific person or family would need to find that information. If it is in the Help somewhere, I would appreciate being pointed to it. If it isn't in Help, it would be helpful to add it.

@JaneSmith2600 I agree, but I hope you can understand the concern. There is a difference between a FamilySearch user making edits to a record where he is familiar (from his own research) with the people, places, and dates on the record AND a mass editing project.

I am not on a mass editing project. I just sometimes run into a record that needs to be edited before I can attach the source.
