I'm indexing but the project instructions do not make it clear how I should document children. There is not a spot for children, and it also instructs us to not make a new entry for them. Am I missing something?

Unless the child is the principal person, children are not indexed in Naturalizations. Minor, foreign born children were granted citizenship automatically through the petitioner and the researcher will be able to see the children when s/he views the document.

@Jaques, Natalie Jane, keep in mind that indexing is not the same as transcribing. An index is merely a finding aid for the document, not a full computerized version of its contents.

(Or, as I often say to people coming at it from the other end, the index is not the data. It just helped you find the data.)
