How can I delete an entire family tree while keeping a duplicate?

In error, I have created 3 family trees using variations of my name. Only one is correct and fully updated. How can I delete the other 2 trees (which are earlier versions of the default one)? Or can I consolidate 3 into one by having FamSearch compare each?

    Where in FS's vast sprawl have you done this?

    If you're talking about the collaborative Family Tree, where each deceased person is supposed to have one and only one profile, then the way to clean things up depends on whether the profiles are for living or deceased people, and if the latter, whether other users have edited the profiles or not.

    If the duplicates are for living people, and they're not your primary account profile (which cannot be deleted), then only you can see them, and they should have "delete profile" available on their detail pages (at the bottom of the right-hand column).

    If they're for deceased people but only you have touched them, then you should likewise have "delete" available.

    If other users have made changes, or if the duplicates have information that you don't want to lose, you can merge the duplicates. If the hinting system has picked up on the duplication, that will be at the top of the right-hand column, in nice bright red, but you can merge without that, using "Merge by ID" in the Tools box at the bottom of that same column.

    Thank you so much for responding to my query. I have tried your suggestions. As far as I can tell, the merge function only works with individuals. But I want to merge 3 different entire TREES into one, or delete the 2 I don't want. What am I missing?

    @Jon Jurgensen, there's only the one collaborative Family Tree, and everything in it is done at the individual profile level. If your duplicates really are in this tree, then there are many merges to be done.

    However, given that you perceive them to be separate trees, I wonder if you're not actually looking at the communal Tree. Are you perhaps talking about separate files uploaded into the Genealogies section?

    @Jon Jurgensen

    Good morning. I was wondering if you received an answer to your discussion. I am sure it is not the answer you were hoping for but FamilySearch does not allow you merge different family tress all at once. Only one by one.

    How to merge in FamilySearch.
