Very few options for indexing projects?

Over the past few weeks, I have noticed that there are only one or two different indexing projects available when I go to select a project. I have my filters set to all difficulties and the English language. Are there just not very many active projects? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Not in English anyway. Wish familysearch would put out a notice to all transcribers and tell us what is going on.

It's been this way since around Christmas. Other indexing sites are the National Archives' Citizen Archivist, From The Page, Freedom on the Move and Billion Graves.

Library of Congress also has some interesting transcription projects.

With transcribing its important to be able to read cursive and to read the entire record/page/image. Unfortunately too many schools no longer teach cursive; too bad because there's so much to learn from the "ancient" history of the 1900's. Just sayin', no intent to offend anyone 😎
