Wildcard searches on surnames non-functional

First name wildcards good, the surname function is not. Sometime Friday that function went down. While first names still work, there is an issue using surnames in the wildcard searching. It needs looking into.

The first report of this came through Feedback at 4:30 Thursday afternoon and engineers jumped on it. I was waiting to have something to report before responding here, but no updates yet. Thank you for your patience as they try to work through it.

I can't get any kind of search to work using the record search

but the All Collections Search does work

I'd flag one of your threads on the wildcard searches so that a moderator can bring it to the attention of the site developers
