No records from Syria? Each rural municipality has Civil Archives where records of births, marriages and deaths are kept. I understand that in recent yeears people have been called to seek and digitize records from Christian churches in the former Ottoman Empire, which ended shortly after World War I.

All of my fathers relatives are in Malta. My father died in 2012, before reliable genealogy was readily available as it is today. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much. Malta is a country near Italy in the Mediterranean. Please include it in your search.
