Please upload this comment to technical support. On digital film 7,907,962, which is Dundee parish registers, image 258 of 515 needs to be rescanned from the microfilm. The page is blurry. The surrounding pages are clear. The identical page on ScotlandsPeople is clear.

It's probably the microfilm image that's blurry, but in any case, I am not aware of anyone at FS being able to do anything about single images with problems.

The catalog entry for film 7907962 indicates that there were multiple filmings of these baptisms, but the images are AL/FHC only for me, and the labeling is rather, ah, nonspecific ("Another filming. 1952 (continued)"), so I can't help you find another image of that page.

There is a process for requesting a new image when one is blurry. But, as Julia rightly points out, it's likely the microfilm that is blurry, and not much can be done about that.

It'd be rather fascinating to have been someone doing the filming of these records in Dundee, Scotland.

It might have felt tedious at times, but while indexing, I find myself thinking of the people behind the names and that certainly deepens the experience for me.

Unfortunately, I don't have the means to get to Scotland to re-film these particular records. ✈️
