Family history centers
I live in Puerto Rico and I have tried to get in touch with all the family history centers listed on the map. Only one has hours of operation, none have a working phone number, and all have as spoken language French and Malagasy.
Being curious, I tried other family history centers in Guadeloupe, Haiti, Nicaragua, Samoa, etc… They all have the same problem… if they have phone numbers, they do not work and when they only have emails to make an appointment, I emailed about 30 of them and only one has responded. (All of them had French and Malagasy as spoken languages)
So, I humbly think that there is a great divide between the advertised accessibility of the centers throughout the world and the reality.
PS: Even the united states centers have French and Malagasy as spoken languages…
I would love to speak to someone about this.
Thank you for reading this.

I am not connected with FamilySearch
From what I have read previously, mainly on this Community Forum, I think your only option is to contact Support in your area
using options which are available for specific areas such as phone, email, WhatsApp etc and not all may be available (Spanish and Portuguese language only for South America)My experience is that FamilySearch makes it very difficult, from a patron's point of view, for details about FamilySearch Centers to be updated. The moderators on this Community Forum only deal with North American Centers.
You perhaps could also try emailing the FamilySearch Library directly, as I think ultimately they are responsible. There are some email addresses in the following link, although this is for something different to your query https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-request-a-correction-to-the-familysearch-catalog

But thank you for responding.

Yes Sis. Templeman, I agree with you as I just checked my local FS Center's webpage where I work each week. The phone was out of date and it also stated French and Malagasy spoken. Pero se habla español y no conozco nadie hablando frances ni malagasy!
but I will be asking our director to update the info etc. Thanks for a reminder but a feedback comment might be in order across the globe!

My own experience is the same as Sister Templeman's experience. I do consultations for all of Latin America and I find very few of the many listed FamilySearch Centers have contact information or hours when they are open. I have a long analysis done by Sister Templeman that I think needs to be considered. I am attaching it as a txt
doc

There is a known glitch that happened with an update, basically all centers list French and Malagasy as the spoken languages, so don't let that be a deterrent, (including all in the USA.)
