How can I get the Progress report to show what I have done each Month?

Someone's bright idea has the light switch turned off. I want the total running for the month. The goal is irrelavant to me. I do indexing when I can. I have a low goal and often surpass it many times over. Don't mess with what wasn't broken.

I imagine there will be extensive querying of this matter at RootsTech if it hasn't been fixed by then.

Basically FS needs to learn to consult its user base when planning changes, and to communicate with them at the time of implementation. I also don't think the pool of beta testers (assuming there is one) can be wide enough.

In general, there seems to have been considerable improvement over the last couple of years in the way FamilySearch developers have reached out to product users. Specific groups have been created on items like New Person Page, Source Linker Feedback and Merge Analysis Review in order that comments can be fed back directly to the teams involved in the changes being implemented relating to these areas. Unfortunately, the teams involved with Indexing seem far less responsive to the need for collaboration with volunteer indexers and, until recently, there appears to have been no real communication channel to get back to them on issues like this. However, it now seems that site moderator @Ashlee C. has been able to pass on issues raised here and, hopefully, she may be able to communicate the feelings of disappointment in the recent changes, which have been regarded as very unwelcome, judging by several reports from indexers that have been posted here.

Strangely enough if you go to "Progress" and select "Year" it will show you your goals and YTD totals for the month of February! Looks like things are either messed up, or the "Year" totals only started up in February and will be YTD going forward. Otherwise, yes, get this fixed.

I may be wrong about this. The numbers look bad too.

The new monthly progress is useless. I am interested in my monthly total to be available from day 1, increasing with my work each day. The new, but not improved, monthly progress requires me to manually add the daily totals to get a month-to-date running total. Please return to the prior version.
