I'm working a batch that lists the last name, first name, dept, address but sometimes it has another name in parenthesis. Here's an example of both:

Ex 1: Bradshaw William foreman h 356 N Rosewood Ave

Ex 2: Bradshaw William foreman h 356 N Rosewood Ave (Marie H)

I know how to index Ex 1, but my wonder is with one like Ex 2. Do I index the name Maria H as the spouse? There are many like that.

Maria H is his spouse and she will be indexed in the spouse fields.

If the names were reversed, Marie H Bradshaw (wid William), William is not indexed as he is a deceased spouse.
