I’m seeing several entries like this in the City Directives. US—City Directories, 1903–1935 [Part N] [MQRZ-5CJ]

1st - Erbacher Anna H (Mrs J Leo), teacher, h 422 McClellan

          “       J Leo, emp G E h 422 McClellan

2nd - Epstein David, retired, h 725 Ave A

                       “       Gussie (Mrs David) h 725 Ave A

Do I make the names in parenthesis as a separate entry from Anna and Gussie? Their spouses are already listed separately.  Do I include the prefix?

The names in parenthesis will be indexed in the spouse's section:

    Prefix: Mrs.
    GN: Anna H.
    SN: Erbacher
    Spouse's GN: J Leo
    Spouse's SN:  Erbacher

I'm accustom to putting a lady's name in as the spouse. This is different from any I've done before. Thank you. 😀
