February 8 edited April 22 in Get Involved/Indexing

I figured out what the progress chart is showing. Instead of showing the cumulative numbers each day for the month, it just shows the number indexed for each day individually. I think this change was a mistake. I think most people want to see how far along they are in their goals so far in the month.

I agree with Barbara, I would rather see my goal for the month instead of the number indexed each day. I was able to see at a glance how I was doing with my monthly goal. I hope this is just a trial run.

@barbaragailsmith1 and @erutherford I've added up all the negative comments and viewers about the progress charts - well over 100. Can you forward all this to the programmers, moderators and/or FS powers that be so that something can be done. Thank you ps - we trust that moderators do pass along our concerns but we need more than reassurance, we need to see our input is immediately read not lost to AI . Thanks

I also agree. I want to see my month to date progress so I'll know how many records to complete to meet my monthly goal. With the recent change I'll have to add up all daily totals to see how many records I've completed for the month. Wish FamilySearch would get some opinions before making these kind of changes.
