Directories come with a pre-set 300 entries. When you have less than 300, do the following:

Click on trash can icon on the toolbar.

    FireShot Capture 022 - Indexing Tool — FamilySearch.org - www.familysearch.org.png

This box will appear. Select All blank entries and click Delete.

    FireShot Capture 023 - Indexing Tool — FamilySearch.org - www.familysearch.org.png

You will then be left with the keyed entries and will be able to submit the batch.

Remember also that each field requires to be marked as blank if it is a required field. I did a batch where I forgot to mark those as blank and had to go back and fill them all in. For example, if there was no spouse, I just did not enter anything. But the program wanted me to mark the spouse field as blank. Then I was able to delete all the blank entries.

Also, do not type in the word blank instead use either Ctrl + B or the toolbar which gives you <blank>
