Is he still living? If so, I am afraid we can't help you here, for privacy reasons. If he is deceased, do you have a death date/location?

Unfortunately, FamilySearch has no records for Famagusta. I also could not find anything at other large genealogy websites here in the United States. You should probably contact the State Archives to see if they have records for Akhyritou. I wish you well in your search!
FYI to the Community: All of the inhabitants of this village fled the Turkish armies in 1974 to become refugees in the demilitarized zone. The town is now occupied by people from Turkey who came in 1976.
