January 25 in Search

I've found two obituaries for my great-grandaunt, Bertha Box (L2ZL-ZFZ), whose death date was previously unknown in Family Tree. However, I do not have a subscription to Newspapers.com, so I was hoping someone with access to that information would be willing to look and share the death date with me? Thank you so much and God bless you!!

I found another obituary on Ancestry, which confirms those details:

    The News Scimitar
    Memphis, Tennessee · Monday, July 14, 1919

    Mrs. Bertha Peyton.

JONESBORO, Ark., July 14. (Spl.) — Mrs. Bertha Peyton, age 17, died at St. Bernard's hospital Friday night. She is survived by her parents. The funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon at Ransome cemetery.

She died on 11 July 1919 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Here are the details from those two obituaries:

    Jonesboro Daily Tribune
    Jonesboro, Arkansas · Saturday, July 12, 1919

MRS. BERTHA PEYTON CLAIMED BY DEATH

Mrs. Bertha Peyton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Box, died at St. Bernard's Hospital at 10:30 last night, as a result of an operation. The deceased was only seventeen years of age. She is survived by her parents and other relatives and friends. The funeral was conducted this afternoon at the Ransom Cemetery, northeast of the city.

    The Sun
    Jonesboro, Arkansas · Saturday, July 12, 1919

Miss Bertha Box, 16 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Box, residing north of the city, died last night at St. Bernard's Hospital after an operation for appendicitis. The funeral was held this afternoon at the Ransome cemetery north of the city.

I noted that the cemetery name is spelled differently in the two notices, and found it interesting that Find A Grave spells it Ransome and Billion Graves spells it Ransom, so the spelling ambiguity continues to this day!
