Can I merge living people in family groups

I am talking to a guest with a question: Can I merge living people in shared family group trees?

Yes. But only if the duplicate living people are in the same family group tree.

You cannot merge a living person in your private space with a living person in a group tree and you cannot merge a living person on one group tree with a living person in a different group tree.

    For example:

My Private Space: Sam Smith BBBB-BBB

Smith Family Group Tree: Sam Smith DDDD-DDD and Sam Smith GGGG-GGG

Jones Family Group Tree: Sam Smith HHHH-HHH

Only DDDD-DDD and GGGG-GGG can merged. None of the others can because they are in different private spaces.
