Indexing "Jr"

The father is Boisson, Edward J. The next entry is Boisson, Edward J. jr. Should the second entry be indexed and if so where would the jr be recorded? I have been ignoring the second entry, in the past, but just wanted to check if that is correct.

Unless there is a suffix field, suffixes are not indexed. You will index the first Edward, then move to the next unique name.

You shouldn't index Boisson Jr. Jr is a suffix and if you are doing Directories, there is no Suffix field. I have never seen a batch of any kind that has had a suffix field. Without the Jr. it becomes an identical entry to Boisson, Edward and should not be indexed.
