I just uploaded a GEDCOM file into Genealogy. I don't see it anywhere. Does it take a while to appear? Thanks.

It is not real obvious where it is but here are the steps. The not obvious part is step 5.

    1. Sign in to FamilySearch.
    2. At the top of the page, click Search.
    3. Click Genealogies.
    4. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
    5. Click Upload Your Individual Tree.
    6. In My Uploaded Trees, find the file.

If you are thinking of transferring the inforation from your GEDCOM to Family Tree, You need to do so with caution. My user of Family Search do not recommend transferring your GEDCOM into Family Tree. Here are some things to know.

1- You shouldn't load a GEDCOM that is very large. I consider anything over 100 names as large.

2- When you transfer to Family Tree, every name needs to be compared to what is already on Family Tree. This is a tedious process. That is because, unlike other programs, Family Tree is a universal tree and only wants one profile per person. You should check family tree before to see how much is already there. If your names are already there, I would recommend not loading the GEDCOM. Just review what is already on Family Search and provide updates as needed.

Let us know if we can be of further assistances.
