    How strange. They're still exactly where you describe, for me.

    All I can think of is that maybe you got signed out? But there wouldn't be a "recently viewed" box then, either, so that doesn't explain it. Oh! Maybe you've changed the zoom, so they're further down than you're accustomed to?

    @John Edward Bracken

    Are you in the preview version of the new home page or are you on the old/current view?

    In the preview, the hints will be in the middle below recents. In the current view, hints will be on the right side below Search for an Ancestor. Julia's screenshot is of the preview. The old/current looks like this

    @John Edward Bracken , even if you are having trouble seeing your hints on the home page, as a workaround, you can always go directly to the Hints page. Clicking on that link will show you if you have any hints; you almost certainly do, even if they might not appear on your home page. And you could bookmark that link in your browser to make it easier to get to in the future.

    The hints link ref. here does not show hints. I contacted support and support told me this is a known issue and they are working on it. Support does not know when it will be fixed. This issuse is not just on my profile but others as well. My wife can sign in and see hints on her account, so I know it is not my lap top.
