My Contributions - list of all PIDs to which I had contributed.
Is there a way to get a list of all PIDs to which I had contributed over the years? I have nearly 100 thousand contributions.
"My Changes" will only allow me to search by name. I tried wildcards, even * for all names, but this search does not accept wildcards.
Thank you!

Hi @Jaromir in Canada. I don't think there's a way to search contributions by PIDs. The only convoluted way that I can think of, is selecting the 'view by person' option (to condense the data a bit) and then keep scrolling down until you get to the bottom of the list. From there, using "Crtl+F" (or "command-F" if on a Mac), you could type in the PID in the new search box. The problem is, you'd have to scroll for a very long time with that many contributions, and, it would depend on if your computer could handle it. Then, you'd probably want to make a sort of a separate key between names and PIDs so you wouldn't have to do that all again.

Ultimately, it might be best to 'suggest an idea' for searching by PID, as this method isn't very feasible.

Actually I do not want to search by PID. You can easily find and display the profile of a person if you already have a PID.
You can just replace the PID in the URL of another person.
Or, go to menu Tree / Find / Find by ID, that feature is available. However, I want a list of ALL people that I had either created or worked on since 2017. The link above does shows people which I had added and modified. However when I search for a name that I had worked on in 2018 the system shows nothing. Yet I know that I had created a family by that name long time ago.
The system “knows” that I had made exactly 92,158 contributions. That means that there must be an index which has a list of PIDs of people that I had worked on. Some people show up and others do not, that is an inconsistency. This may mean that this index is corrupted.
The reason I want a list of all the people is that I want to go back and make updates based on any new sources which had been added since then.

I see how a list could help you make those updates and how this glitch is a barrier to that. I don't know much about coding, but it sounds like it's an issue with how the system tabulates or pulls the data on contributions.

Thanks for suggesting, I submitted a "Suggest an Idea" to allow wildcards.
I tried again to look at My Contributions and keeps scrolling going into the past, but it will keep forever to go back to 2017. It would be best to be able do download then into a spreadsheet.1 -
Third Party Programs like Root Magic can make a spreadsheet for you. I find it easier to search by last name.

RootsMagic etc. can't as far as I can see identify the FT profiles to which a particular user has contributed; so not sure how this helps? Or am I missing something?

RootsMagic or FTM2019 will download a complete tree if you give them one of the PIDs in the tree. It will then traverse the tree and download all the people in the tree.
However, it has no way of finding all the people that you had ever created and that would be many many trees.1 -
Let alone all the profiles the user had contributed to, which is what the OP asked for.
I searched through the APIs, including the FT search parameter options, and could find nothing anywhere that would list contributions/profiles contributed to by user (and if you could do it you'd probably only be able to page through 5,000 results).
Also, a FS import to a third party product may or may not store any contributor information locally, I am pretty sure RM doesn't (extra API calls to identify the relevant users, quite apart from possible privacy concerns).

In my contributions I have over 100,000 changes. I have over 10,000 new names. If I search by a last name I can look through a list of less than 200 names to find the person I am interested in. That is one way of finding a person without having a wild card.

I think the OP's point is that they can't identify/remember all the surnames they have contributed to, so searching by surname could not provide all the information required.
Clearly FS' database, if queried appropriately, could readily provide this information; the issue is that we have no user interface (or indeed API) available to us that can make the full list visible or exportable.
I think we may all have to accept that the answer here is 'No'.
I would Suggest an Idea on this were I sure that it wouldn't be a waste of effort given the current state of the Ideas system.
