Excuse me asking but I don't now where to look. I have just found a relative on social media. Is it possible for me to show him my full tree so we can look at our shared ancestry.

@AndrewMcCrae , He can create a FamilySearch Account and immediately see your Deceased but not any Living persons. You may want to create a Family Group, there members of the same Family Group can see the same living. Family Group is still being developed, you may want to join the Family Group Trees Early Access, for questions and information. https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/321-family-group-trees-feedback-early-access

Hello, @AndrewMcCrae. If you don't know this relative well, consider first sending a screenshot showing your family connection.

In your tree, navigate to the ancestor you both share—like a great-grandparent, for example. Click their name and then click the icon that looks like a curved line with two boxes to 'view relationship'. Screenshot the result.

If the connection is farther back than two or three generations, or they might not know their ancestry well, you may be better off using 'view relationship' on the profile of their last deceased ancestor, which will show a closer representation of their connection to you.

Though YOU will be able to "View your relationship" with some deceased COMMON ancestor (that is already in FS) and you can share a screen shot of that with them. But they wont be able to do the same for their relationship to that same ancestor - until they have entered their direct line ancestors (from that common ancestor) and linked them - just as you have done.
