What is Suggest an Idea?
The Suggest an Idea option in the FamilySearch Community is the place to suggest a new function or addition to FamilySearch.
Suggest an Idea is not the place to report site errors or bugs, file a complaint, or ask questions. You can, however, post those concerns in the appropriate Ask a Question category in the Community.

What will Happen to old ideas?
We are committed to utilizing your contributions effectively. The ideas currently in Suggest an Idea have been (or will be) moved to a database where we can complete a comprehensive cleanup. This will enable us to share your ideas more easily with our engineering teams.
Our objective is to meticulously review older ideas to ensure their validity and clarity. Entries that deviate from being genuine ideas, such as site errors or bugs, complaints, or other unrelated content, will be moved to the appropriate category or may be deleted if they are no longer applicable.
For ideas that remain, we are undertaking a thorough assessment to ensure a clear understanding of the idea. In cases of ambiguity, we will proactively reach out to the original contributor(s) to seek clarification. To maintain a focused and purposeful platform, entries lacking clarity or deemed no longer applicable, not implemented, or misaligned with our objectives may be removed.
