My late father Emile Kolose Fruean's file notes are wrong as he had 8 chidlren and not one as indicated. My father came from Upolu Apia.
Dad was the youngest of 16 brothers and sisters to my grandfather August Toletufunga Afoa Fruean and my grandmother leila Forster from Pago Pago.
My eldest sister Josie and eldest brother Max have both since passed away and the rest of my brothers and sisters are last surviving members from our father and his late aigas generation. Therefore it is very important that the records be maintained correctly for our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to know and understand the true Fruean family tree.
My brother Max had 3 children

@sene4 I applaud you for wanting to create a true and accurate portrayal of your family to pass to the next generation. Because this is a public forum (and I assume most of the family members are still living), it is the policy of FamilySearch to respect their privacy. (See Community Code of Conduct.) Your post has been edited to remove names of living individuals.
The place to record all of this information where it will be preserved is in Family Tree. There, you can attach the obituary with an explanation about the errors. As was mentioned, the indexing does not come from GenealogyBank or from FamilySearch volunteers. Computers make mistakes—lots of them. The important thing to remember is that an index is just a tool to help you find a source. It is not the source.
