I am working on a family. The father is related to me, but the children come up as not related except for the oldest son. This just started today. I added biological relationship to the child and parents, but it didn't help. Anyone else?

This has been reported by others. Seems like an inadvertent bug crept in with an update. When I tested this out on my Mac using Safari and Firefox, things are working just fine with the relationship viewer this morning. Are you still having problems? If so, this could be system/browser or mobile app version dependent.

Try again, and if those younger siblings still don't show as relatives, you should probably report your computer or mobile device, operating system, and browser or app with version. Then the programmers can know where to start looking for what might be causing problems.

For example, I am running on a desktop Mac running macOS Sequoia 15.2 with the browser Safari 18.2 and Firefox 133.0.3 and not having any issues in either browser.

I have a related issue. I am related to Becke Fitter (G2N6-FPD) — 4th cousin four times removed. But the computer says I am NOT related to her daughter, Lisette Jürgens (M8T3-F4G). The daughter is entered as having a biological relationship to both parents. I think this problem was there last evening, but by bedtime it looked like the relationship was OK. But again this morning I am NOT related to the daughter (but still related to the mother). I am using Chrome 131.0.6778.205, running on Windows 11. I get the same incorrect behavior using Safari on a Macbook Air.

Just this morning I had submitted a support ticket via the help line. Only a few hours later it has been marked as "resolved." I don't know what they did, but it does indeed work now. I hope it's a general solution that works for everyone, rather than just fixing this one isolated case. :)

Engineers did find an issue this morning causing the relationship calculations to take longer than expected. It has been resolved and they are working on resolving any data entered the last couple of days. Please post if there are still situations where you have added a person, or even just a relationship, after Monday, Jan 6 around 9:30 am MST and it is still taking more than a couple hours.
