I am searching for my ancestor's immigration file that might have his name in Chinese characters. He emigrated from Canton traveled to Singapore to Sydney Australia between 1850-1860. I have information from arrival on the ship " Wanderer" from Singapore in the list of British Chinese passengers. Two passengers are listed as " Ashew" and one as " Ashoo" '

He got the name of Samuel Asheu when he settled in Sydney.

With his name in Chinese characters, I can do further research in our Jiapu.

Looking forward for any of your help.

@sc wozniak, thank you. I did look at that. Australia is not included. I appreciate your suggestion.
