When I try to edit a profile on Family Search, the suggestion icon goes to the corner of my laptop screen. I can't see the information I am typing and the save button is off the screen and not available. I need some help.

@bobsnyder1925 Good Morning :) First off, close out all your open tabs and turn off your computer. Let it sit for about 1 minute then turn it back on. Try the procedure again. If that still doesn't correct the issue, clear your cookies. If that still doesn't work. let us know what system and browser you are using. For example: Windows 10, Firefox.

Okay, Rhonda things are better, but not good. I can edit now. I clear all cookies and turn off the computer for a while. Likewise, I have to shrink the screen way down and can find the save button. Then I have to enlarge the text to the size I can read the text. I am using Foxfire as a browser.

@bobsnyder1925 are you able to try Chrome as a browser? Just curious as to whether it will make a difference. If there is a difference…there may be a Firefox glitch. Let me know.

I hate chrome. I try hard not to use it. Sorry, I am not trying to be difficult.

Maybe try Edge? The key point here isn't Chrome, it's not-Firefox. Also worth testing with Firefox on another computer.

I tried Edge, and it seemed to work correctly. I can use Edge as a workaround until the Foxfire bug dies. Thanks for the help.

Another thing that might be worth trying, is Firefox in incognito/private mode. Right click a link to Firefox and an option for private mode might come up. But that doesn't do things like save new passwords, so just be aware of that if you try it.

FamilySearch and Firefox have not been working well together for a few months. I've been a big Firefox fan for many years. Recently, I've switched to using any other browser for FamilySearch. Especially the newer versions of the image viewer just don't work and the page will pulse - pulse - pulse for long minutes, causing the rest of my system to screech to a halt.
