Need a way to Collaborate on Family Tree

This feature would allow family members to work together more effectively on building and maintaining their shared family history. This feature would help solve several common challenges:

  • Reducing duplicate effort when multiple family members are researching the same ancestors
  • Improving accuracy through collective verification of information
  • Making it easier for younger generations to learn family history from older relatives

Thank you for considering this feature request. I look forward to your response

    @AdnanHaddad

    Two options are currently available to do what you want. Take a look at the projects available on the Labs page.

    The CET or User-Owned Tree Feature and the Family Group Trees projects both foster collaboration among families and friends.

    Another way that I use is the chat feature on the FamilySearch home page. You can get to this by:

    1. Click on the name above

    2. Click on the chat icon and start a group chat.

    3. Invite people to your Family Group chat.

    If you have questions about how to use the chat, click on the question mark with the circle around it just to the left of the chat icon. Then click on:
