Hi, How do you Index wills and probates records ?
I just index the name of the deceased, date of death if available and place, and place of probates, that's it. Do we also index those people who received the will?

From the point of view of a retriever of information rather than an indexer, beneficiary and executor information is super useful and sometimes essential in verifying relationships, and I would therefore love to see it indexed (which would also let it be part of the DQS assessment). (There could be a problem with exposing living people if the probate is recent, though.)

As with all indexing questions, start with the project instructions. They're easily available multiple ways on every image of every batch.
