Use the pencil icon to edit the relationship that represents the incorrect link (perhaps a child/parents one that gives a child an extra set of 'parents'). You will then be able to Remove that relationship with an appropriate reason statement. (I'm obviously assuming there are no meaningful source(s) attached at profile or relationship level to verify the link.)

If you're uncertain, try communicating with other contributors on the branch, first. I'm dealing with an issue right now where a new user has deleted all the sources and changed all the names on a well-proven and heavily-sourced branch.

@Áine Ní Donnghaile - oh man, I feel bad for you on that. While I have had some issues here and there, I've yet to have this one come up. That's one of the things that most people don't like is having too many hands in the pie here but it's the way it is. I feel like I do play security guard a lot more than doing research some days.

I've had a few issues over the years and usually have been able to resolve quickly. This one is proving more difficult.

thank you for all your comments
The family tree system won’t let me delete the relationship
I don’t necessarily want to delete them, but I just want to remove them from the relationship from our family
It’s my fault I put the wrong father to a great great grandfather

Can you identify exactly what you want removed please, including the relevant PIDs, then we can have a look at it.

I want to remove the relationship
Between William S Harvey (GY1W-M58) and George Frederick Harvey ( (L7M3-N6X)
I believe I gave William S Harvey the wrong father.
I want to remove the whole family of George Frederick Harvey
(L7M3-L6X) connection to my William S Harvey (GY1W-M58) family.
