Do you have the URL of the record? If there is a record indexed on FamilySearch, it should be available to view and download at any Affiliate Library or FamilySearch Center.

Pennsylvania birth records are available on Ancestry through 1915. 1916 will be available about Spring 2025,

      This is the collection

Note that certificates from 1916 are not included, only an index. Certificates are only available through 1912.

Now the mystery continues. He is not listed. I guess my next move is Catholic Church records. Thank you for your help! He was their first child born in the states so maybe they late registered him.

If you need the full record image urgently, you can order from the state of PA. Otherwise, Spring 2025 it should be available on Ancestry.com.

Not urgent but my husband is trying to get dual citizenship. The spelling of the last name might be an issue. We will see. Thank you so very much for your help and time.
