To add photos to a FamilySearch story, you can do the following:

    1. Sign in to FamilySearch
    2. Click Memories at the top of the page
    3. Click Gallery
    4. Click the Stories icon, which looks like an open book
    5. Click the story you want to add a photo to
    6. Click Edit above the story title
    7. Click Add Image above and to the left of the story text
    8. Select up to 10 photos from your gallery
    9. Click the check mark in the upper right of each photo you want to add
    10. Click Import in the bottom right

You can also add photos to a story by clicking the plus sign (+) in the green circle, then clicking Create a Story. From there, you can add photos from your computer or from your FamilySearch gallery.

The above user points out how to add photos as a link to stories

If However you are asking to insert images right into the text itself - there is no functionality to do that .
Story items are meant to be text only - though they can be linked to photos as described above.

if you want to mix text and images into a single entity - you will need to do so by creating a pdf document.
