Is there a way to see relationship status of someone else in your tree to another person (not myself

Scenario: I found a person with my Surname name. when I check "how am I related to them" link I find that I am related THRU my mother back 10 generations.. I want to check and see how they are related to my father as he also has the same Surname as this 10th generation individual. Is there a way to check? obviously when I am on my Dad's page and I click my relationship it tells me he is my dad.. but I want to see how he is related to this other person.

Hoping someone can help me navigate this quicker than doing the linear genealogy back 10 generations.

Thanks

Dara

If using RootsMagic 10 as your backup program, you can easily check relationships between all people in your database.
