Digital Library problems including Feedback problem
I was signed in, but I was unable to access a book in the FS Digital Library which showed "Public access". I clicked on View Inside, but nothing happened.
The catalog record was
https://www.familysearch.org/library/books/records/item/858172-regimental-records-of-the-3rd-battalion-royal-munster-fusiliers-formerly-south-cork-light-infantry-militia
When I was on this page there was nothing showing to indicate I was signed it, I suspect this is probably the problem.
I tried to use the Feedback button on the side of the page but while I was typing details of the problem, I was suddenly exited from the Feedback. I tried this I think FIVE tImes , but was unable to complete the Feedback. I have no idea whether the Feedback was sent uncompleted or whether it vanished into cyber space.
@Ashlee C. Could you please pass on to the two relevant areas, firstly the Digital Library access problem, and secondly the Feedback problem.

An inability to complete Feedback is often due to browser settings, especially any ad blockers such as ABP, uBlock, and Malwarbytes Browser Guard

The Books page has my name in the top right corner, but clicking "View Inside" results in an endless loop of hourglass, a blip as it reloads the page, then hourglass again.
I've tried it several times now, several hours apart.
And this is not an adblocker problem with Feedback: if the blip occurs while you're typing, it loses that popup.

@MaureenE123 I experienced the same issue yesterday. I will send this to have it looked at.

@MaureenE123 I looked at this record earlier and it was working again. Will you please check it and let me know if it is working for you now?

Thank you for advising @Ashlee C. Yes, this problem seems to have been fixed and I can access the digital book. Thank you Engineers!
One aspect I found interesting is that this book is stated/implied to have been derived from a digitised microfilm . From the catalog
from image 513The images in the Digital Library book have had the outer part of the microfilm images snipped off to tidy them up. This is the first time I have seen FamilySearch present a digitised microfilm as a book in the Digital Library. I can only hope it will be done more often, as I believe reading a book in the Digital Library has more features available such as Text search, and has a better book reader
