Can I start a new tree for someone that is not my family (at least recently)?

I'm trying to make the family trees to my village, where most of us are inter-related.

You can create profiles for those not related to you by starting with an unconnected person. You'll find that option at the bottom of your Recents list.

There are no separate trees on FamilySearch; it is a single collaborative tree for all.
