You can import from Family Tree into a third party product (I use RootsMagic myself) and then export from there as a gedcom, but you can't do it directly, and note that not all third party products will include sources in their imports (RootsMagic doesn't).
(There is or was an open source tool called getmyancestors which could pull a gedcom direct from Family Tree, including sources, but I am not sure whether it is still available.)

You'll find the Family Tree Management Apps that work with FamilySearch in the Solutions Gallery. I use Family Tree Maker. https://www.familysearch.org/en/innovate/solutions-gallery/

No, I mean Family Tree Maker. It no longer appears in the Solutions Gallery, but it still works with FamilySearch.

@Sam Sulser @Stephanie V. Can you investigate why Family Tree Maker is no longer listed in the Solutions Gallery? It used to be there, and it is a great tool for working with the FSFT.

@JenniferDalton6, before you make a decision about using Family Tree Maker, you might want to read this discussion. There is an ongoing issue with using FTM to interface to Family Search. I recently spoke with a person from Mackiev who told me that the problem will be fixed in the next release of FTM 2024 (towards the end of this year) and that there will also be an update to the current version (FTM 2019).
I don't want to discourage you from using FTM, but you might prefer to wait until the the fixes are available.
I wonder if this issue is the reason that FTM isn't in the Solutions Gallery at present.

The current issues with searching in FS from Family Tree Maker will NOT impact the ability to download the user's portion of the tree.

I have an answer about why Family Tree Maker isn't in the Solutions Gallery. When we moved to the newer code and webpage, our 3rd party friends were asked to provide some information to help us include their products correctly on our site. We haven't received this information back from all of them. Your asking about this prompted another request so we can get them added. Sam 😉
