Auto standardize function not working - GBRC-XKQ

I added this individual from a census record in the attach records screen, and when adding the individual, on the right side of the screen when moving the birth place/date over, it changed it from the indexed form to a "standardized" format…but when I go to the actual person's profile, it still says that the place needs to be standardized.

This is the same situation with 4 siblings I just added, all the same procedure with the same result. I've had this happen with probably hundreds of people at this point, thus having to go back into the birth place field, re-standardizing again, and THEN it works. PLEASE update that

If you mean that the source linker displayed the standardized format as you were adding the profile and record, you need to click on that standardized format to accept it.

The record I'm working on at the moment has the standardized format of the place but not of the date. You'll see in my screenshot that the date displays in red in standard format when I put my mouse in that box. I have to click on it to accept March or Mar will display. The same method works for the place.

It showed as already standardized with the icons on the left of the fields. If I clicked in both the date and place boxes individually to get the drop downs, re-standardize them both, THEN it would've worked. But why show it as standardized in the first place if it's not actually standardized?

It's not showing as standardized. It is giving you the opportunity to accept or refuse the suggested standardization.

It does/did not say that anywhere in the attach record screen

If you visit the Source Linker Feedback group, there are discussions on the subject.

And, it's the same basic process as when working on a profile detail page.
