Are you aware your search page horizontal scroll is screwed up?
After doing a search, I'm getting a list of records which go off the right side of page. Recently (this is day 2), the horizontal scroll never shows up to slide the page to view the right hand side. To get it back in Firefox, I have to pull the vertical scroll all the way down and then the horizontal will pop up and stay until the next search is done.
I happened to see if Firefox was the issue by using MS browser. That appeared to be worse off. No horizontal scroll showed and, when I pulled the vertical scroll down, another vertical scroll showed up but still no horizontal.

I'm a regular user of the FamilySearch website, and I have not seen what you describe.
Have you tried the basic troubleshooting steps of accessing FS with a different browser and/or clearing your FS cookies?

Umm, I had noted I used the MS browser too (with worse results.) No, did not clear cookies. As a programmer (non-pc), I can't imagine cookies impacting the browser display itself.
Yep, I'm right but this made me look further. I'm using the 'Search - Records' page (from the header menu) which is completely different from doing a general search right off the main page. That's the first bit of confusion. Working on a fresh PC that had never been to familysearch.org, I went into my search page and brought up data - this was using MS Edge. That brings up a 'data sheet' layout as I set it to. The data is being displayed in what appears to be a window within a window - the 'main' window still showing my search criteria. When that criteria is 'X'ed' closed, the right side shows TWO vertical scrolls. Only if the outer (main window) scroll is pulled to the bottom can you see the horizontal scroll of the data (second, inner window.) Firefox seems to blend the vertical scrolls so I see only one until I pull it to the bottom and am then shown both a vertical and horizontal.
Something new and what I would call a programming oops. Did plenty of those myself back in the day but few of mine made it to production.

Trust me, cookies can make the FS display totally non-functional. Had one myself earlier today after an update to Firefox.
I had to clear cookies 3 times before I got any display at all.

@KoalaKim I too have noticed the mysterious appearance of two vertical scroll bars a few days ago. I don't get a problem with sideways scrolling or 'out of sight' information. I'm getting used to unannounced changes causing issues that are sometimes just annoying, and at other times break functionality. I dig around and work at it, and usually after hours or days it's either fixed by some behind the scenes action, or I find a workaround that I can live with.

The double vertical scroll bar hasn't gone away, so I had a look at the page source.
In the main display area, the content is within an element:
<div id="app-content-scroller" class="appContentCss_a3ys9hn">
under that there are two elements:
<div class="fullHeightCss_f1do35m3">
<div class="fullHeightCss_f1do35m3" style="--grid-width:889px; --cell-width:889px;">I wonder if both of these have their own scroll capability, but actually the outer one has no need because all it contains is the inner one.

@KoalaKim @Re Searching Yes, there is a known problem with scrolling that appeared last week. In Feedback, some report the double scroll bar, some can scroll to see 3 or 4 results, and others report not being able to scroll at all. It's being worked on, but no updates yet.

@SerraNola @KoalaKim The double vertical scrollbar no longer appears on my results. Is the original issue still present when you try ?

@Re Searching Engineers reported this problem was resolved last Thursday. Also, the issue with "disappearing results" seems to be fixed. Let us know if you see anything else popping up.
