Instructions state when indexing to index information even though the principle information is not listed. Here the child's name is not listed but only the father or mothers information. Should the individual have indexed that information?

Also, the individual indexed a date but I cannot find one. I am sure as soon as I post this I will probably find the answer, but I want to be correct.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

The information for the first image is found on the previous page and this is where the record starts. However, we will need to mark image 1 as No, No Extractable data because of the information found in the General Indexing Guidelines:

What to Do When Records Span 2 Images or to View Additional Images
    • If the first record on an image begins on a previous image, don't index it. The record will be indexed as part of the previous batch. Start indexing at the first complete record.

Because the second image is the first image has information for this record you may use this image and any information on the 3rd image to complete this record.

For the third image you may mark this one as No, No Extractable information because it has been indexed with the second image.

    I hope this is helpful.
